Join your neighbors for a day of treasure hunting and decluttering at the Commonwealth Morningside Community Yard Sale! Each participating household sets up its own sale—big or small—making it the perfect opportunity to clear out unwanted items, score some unique finds, and connect with neighbors.
Whether you have items to sell or just want to shop, please fill out this form if you are interested in participating. This will greatly help us in determining which day to host this event!
After the sales wrap up, let’s celebrate our efforts with a casual get-together in the driveway of a CMNA board member. Bring your own beverage and enjoy the company of friends old and new!
Date: Saturday in April or May – Help us decide!
Time: Sale: 10am – 12pm | Social: 1-3pm
Location: Yards across the Commonwealth-Morningside neighborhood. Social location TBA
🪧Yard Sale License Required
Important: The City of Charlotte requires a $5 Yard Sale License for anyone selling within city limits. Be sure to get yours! Licenses can be obtained through the Mecklenburg County Tax Collector website.

Memorial Day Parade
Join us for a red, white, and blue celebration as we parade through the neighborhood! Decorate your wheels, wave your flags, and bring your festive spirit as we kick off summer together!
Set up a tailgate along the route, cheer on the parade, and enjoy the fun from the sidelines!
